About the Job
Scheduling and performing risk based quality assurance audits to ensure compliance with company requirements, Customer specifications, Federal and State codes, and any other agency having jurisdiction. The accurate reporting and documentation of audits performed is required. Quality auditors may be tasked with other responsibilities that may
be critical to the continuous improvement and growth of the QA/QC program, which may include but is not limited to: Training, Operator Qualification Evaluation, and interacting with regulatory personnel.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
  • A valid Driver’s License and the ability to drive; knowledge and usage of the English language is required.
  • A High School education or GED.
  • Ability to use computers and mobile computer equipment.
  • Basic math skills; strong people skills; communication and organizational skills. 
  • A strong knowledge of interpreting customer specifications. 
  • A minimum of 5 years of gas utility experience are preferred.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & ACTIVITIES:
Quality auditors will be solely responsible for interpreting and monitoring the knowledge, skill, and ability of field personnel. The position requires the ability to read, interpret and implement company Quality Policies. Must have the skills to present training and develop training outlines from company and customer standards. This job requires inside and outside work in all types of weather conditions. The work may require prolonged and repeated lifting of up to 50 lbs., sitting, climbing, kneeling, and crouching. Eye/hand coordination is essential. This position requires an understanding of PHMSA regulations, DOT regulations and the ability to instruct others in these rules and regulations. Must have the skill and knowledge to understand complex statistical information. The use of computers, specifically Word, PowerPoint, and Excel spreadsheets are required.
