About the Job
We are looking for a versatile HR Generalist to manage our daily people operations. You will be the "go-to" person for everything from finding great talent to ensuring everyone gets paid accurately and on time. The ideal candidate balances a people-first mindset with a sharp eye for compliance and data integrity.

Key Responsibilities:
Payroll & Benefits Administration:
  • Process bi-weekly/monthly payroll, ensuring 100% accuracy in withholdings, deductions, and tax filings.
  • Manage the annual open enrollment process and serve as the primary contact for benefits providers.
  • Assist employees with day-to-day benefits inquiries (health, dental, 401k, etc.) and life event changes.

Full-Cycle Recruitment:
  • Manage the end-to-end hiring process: posting jobs, sourcing candidates, screening resumes, and coordinating interviews.
  • Lead the onboarding experience to ensure new hires feel welcomed and prepared from day one.
  • Build a diverse candidate pipeline through creative sourcing and networking.

Compliance & Labor Laws:
  • Maintain deep knowledge of federal, state, and local labor laws (FLSA, FMLA, ADA, EEO, etc.).
  • Ensure all HR policies and employee handbooks are up-to-date and compliant.
  • Manage employee records and filings, ensuring data privacy and audit readiness.

Employee Relations & Support:
  • Act as a trusted advisor to employees and managers regarding workplace issues and performance management.
  • Support the implementation of HR initiatives, such as culture-building events and training programs.

Qualifications:
  • Experience: 3+ years in an HR role, with direct experience in payroll processing and recruitment.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Tech Savvy: Proficiency with HRIS platforms (e.g., ADP, BambooHR, Gusto) and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
  • Skills: Exceptional communication, high emotional intelligence, and the ability to handle sensitive information with total discretion.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or a related field (SHRM or HRCI certification is a big plus).
