Seeking a Design Engineer to join our growing Philadelphia team! Must have reliable transportation and valid driver's licenses.
All candidates must be legally authorized to work in the US and will not require current or future sponsorship.
Responsibilities:
- Develop plans for the replacement of electric distribution poles, ensuring compliance with Pennsylvania Electric Company (PEC) standards.
- Conduct site assessments to evaluate the condition of existing poles and determine the requirements for replacements, including. considerations for height, load capacity, and environmental factors.
- Prepare and maintain accurate documentation and reports related to design specifications, project progress, and compliance with safety standards.
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of prior experience in construction, utility, or pipeline industry preferred.
- Previous experience with AutoCAD and MicroStation.
- Associates degree preferred.
- Strong work ethic with desire to work in a production environment.
- Ability to travel 50% of the time and 50% work from home.
- Must have reliable transportation and valid driver's licenses.
- MUST have PECO experience.
