Join our commercial construction team as an Assistant Estimator. You will play a key role in the pre-construction phase by transforming project concepts into detailed cost estimates. Key Responsibilities:

Draft Detailed Estimates: Utilize Wick Buildings software and Excel to create accurate project estimates based on textual descriptions, verbal instructions, and blueprints.
Generate Professional Proposals: Prepare final client-facing documents using Microsoft Word and PDF formatting to ensure a polished, professional presentation.
Technical Problem Solving: Leverage your computer savviness to navigate estimation software and manage digital project files efficiently.
Cross-Functional Communication: Act as a bridge between the company and a wide variety of customers, clearly explaining project scopes and cost breakdowns.
Deadline Management: Maintain a high level of organization to meet strict bidding deadlines and keep projects moving forward.

Qualifications:

Minimum High School Diploma, preferred Associate's/ Bachelor's Degree.
Skilled in Microsoft Excel and Word; experience with (or a strong willingness to quickly learn)
Ability to absorb new technical information and software workflows rapidly.
Proven ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure and consistently hit deadlines.
Strong verbal and written skills to interact professionally with diverse client types.
